- Waterford Crystal Visitors Centre - Waterford Crystal is famous throughout the World and their Visitor Centre allows visitors to be guided through the actual production areas, where the World Famous Crystal is made. There are also showrooms and a shopping area, as well as a Tourist Information Desk. (Journey from Hotel 5mins).
- Shopping - Waterford City has seen much development in recent years. There are now plenty of high street stores, boutiques and a large indoor shopping center. The Waterford Manor Hotel is located just 2 minutes drive from the newly opened Butlerstown Retail Park. - Reginald's Tower - A tower has stood on this site for over a thousand years, protecting the Quays of Waterford. The present structure, dating from the 12th century with a second phase in the 15th century, is the oldest urban civic building in the country. Built as part of the town's defences, it was also used as a mint prison and military store. It has been restored and now houses an exhibition. (Journey from Hotel 10mins).
- Waterford Museum of Treasures - Waterford Museum of Treasures at the Granary brings together an extensive range of rare and beautiful artefacts that are brought to life by the latest technological innovations. Also onsite is Waterford's Tourist Office. (Journey from Hotel 10mins).
- Tramore - Tramore is a beautiful and active town with 5km of golden, sandy beach surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, and one of the regions most popular resorts. Tramore is great for the young and old as some of the activities one can do are: walking, swimming, surfing, wind surfing, beach surfing, arcades and amusements. - Mount Congreve Estate and Gardens - Mount Congreve Gardens was created by Ambrose Congreve and covers an area of 500 acres. There are sections in the Gardens and each section has a different style. Opening is between April and November. (Journey from Hotel 2mins).
- Waterford and Suir Valley Railway - Experience the Beauty of the Suir Valley from a period carriage. The Journey starts at Kilmeaden Train Station and lasts approx. 40mins. (Journey from Hotel 5mins).
- Copper Coast and Geopark - The Copper Coast European Geopark runs from Fenor to Stradbally in County Waterford. It is one of 17 designated Geoparks in Europe and is the only one in the Republic. (Journey from Hotel 30mins).

Almost on our door-step are the Comeragh Mountain range and the Nire Valley, with all categories of walking routes. Guided walks can be organised for our serious walkers. Of course you have 18 acres of Our Mature Gardens to explore and Mount Congreve Gardens, 500 acres of garden located 1km from the hotel.
- Golf - Let us organise and book your tee-time at one of the many fine golf courses in the surrounding area, including: Tramore, Dunmore East, Faithlegg, Waterford Castle and Waterford. The courses in the area offer a choice of parkland, sand based or links offering some spectacular scenery and challenging golf.
- Beaches - The coastal Road from the Hotel will take you to some of the finest beaches in the South East. Whether Summer or Winter time, a stroll along any of these beaches is always invigorating: Tramore, Woodstown, Dunmore East, Annestown to name but a few are dotted around the coastline.
